Emilio Gil

Emilio Gil is a Full Professor at the Department of Agri-Food Engineering and Biotechnology at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and Director of the Agricultural Machinery Unit (UMA) research group. A leading international authority on application technology, his research is a benchmark in Europe for sprayer testing, drift mitigation, and precision agriculture. He is the coordinator of the Horizon Europe RENOVATE project and has led numerous other European initiatives, making his work fundamental to the development of a more sustainable agricultural sector.
