Fabrizio Gioelli

Fabrizio Gioelli is a Full Professor at the Department of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (DISAFA) at the University of Turin, where he teaches Technologies for Precision Farming in the Master’s Degree program in Agricultural Sciences. Since 2021, he has been the Director of the Crop Protection Technology Laboratory. His expertise is in agricultural machinery, with a particular focus on testing and optimizing innovative technologies for crop protection — including smart sprayers, aerial (UASS) and fixed spray systems. As a key partner in the Horizon Europe RENOVATE project, his work plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between advanced engineering and practical, field-level agricultural applications.
