Marco Grella

Marco Grella is a researcher at the Department of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (DISAFA) at the University of Turin. His work focuses on testing and developing precision agriculture technologies, with special regards to crop protection technologies, including innovative high-tech solutions like sensors-embedded smart-sprayers, fixed spray systems and unmanned aerial spray systems (UASS) in 3D crops. He is a key member of several European research consortia, including the RENOVATE project, and plays a leading role in the 3E-UAVspray and DANTE projects, which explores UASS customized solutions according to the target including those for mountain viticulture.
